Why should I have you take my senior pictures?
The first and most important thing is individual attention. Most studios send out brochures and brag that they photograph between 500-1000 seniors a year. I do not believe this type of schedule is a good thing. Sure, it is convenient and easy for the photographer, but it does not provide the personal attention you deserve. Graduating from high school is a major event in your life and you will get individualized attention to create special images just for you. If you go to the popular studio, chances are you will get the same pictures everyone else is getting. The same pose, the same background and the same cookie cutter attention. Court Photography can provide you with a designer composite picture or a multi-image wallet with a customized signature just to name a few.

How many poses can I have?
You are not limited to a set number of poses. Your session is tailored to your individual need, the clothes you have and the props you bring. Because your sitting is customized to meet your needs you are not forced to buy pre-made packages.

How many outfits can I bring?
As many as you like! Getting your senior pictures done should be fun and exciting. Do not stress out over not bringing enough clothes to wear. Having too many is better than not having enough and the same goes for props. So make sure you bring your favorite sunglasses, letter jacket, leather coat, hat (girls look good in cowboy hats too!), stuffed animals, wheels or anything else that brings out the real you. Please refer to our Helpful Hints page for suggestions and tips.

Do you print your own photos?
No, I send all of my images to a professional photographic lab for processing. Just like high-end wedding photos, my prints are made using the highest quality photographic paper. This provides the quality and true archival life for your photographs that you would expect and they come with a lifetime guarantee.

Do I have to go to my schools yearbook photographer for my senior pictures?
No, you do not have to go to the school photographer. You do not have to place an order with the contract school photographer but you can have them do your yearbook picture if you prefer or I can take it for you. I just need the guidelines provided by your school. Then when it is time for your real senior pictures just make an appointment at your convenience and I will do the rest. You can schedule your portrait session whenever it is convenient for you.

Can I bring a friend with me?
Definitely bring a friend or family member with you. Although it is not required it is a good idea to bring someone to help calm your nerves. If you want to have that individual in a few poses it is no problem either. Having a pet with you is usually not a problem either but make sure you contact me so that we can discuss what you have in mind first.

What about blemishes?
Do not worry! Almost everyone has days with less than perfect skin. Applying makeup properly can help make sure your preview images look their best. After you have selected your final poses I go over each image to remove minor skin blemishes. This is one small part of what is involved in creating your finished prints. Most braces can be removed at this time but only for the final prints and not for the previews. Removing blemishes, straightening and whitening teeth are just some of the things that I provide to make your pictures look their best.

What about evening and weekend appointments?
I know that a senior schedule is sometimes a balancing act with extra school activities. This requires weekend and evening appointments that can be done without any extra charge.

What is your location and what if I want pictures at a location of my choice?
I am located 2 miles west of Adrian, Michigan on US 223. I have some great outdoor locations already scouted, but I am always up for new places to take pictures, especially if they are meaningful to you. If you have some ideas in mind, just let me know! Travel within a twenty mile radius of my studio is covered in the sitting fee. Feel free to contact me for a rate for travel beyond that.

Do you offer online viewing and ordering?
Yes, online viewing and ordering is provided as a convenient way to view and order your prints. We accept paypal, credit cards, checks and cash as a method of payment.
